The fund was established in 2015 to commemorate the unforgettable memory of Danielle Sonnenfeld OBM The goals of the association are to spearhead and to fund choice projects.
The areas which the association works in include Education, Medicine and assistance for individuals, emphasis on disadvantaged populations.
The foundation focuses its attention on providing for those in need, helping those in daily or occasional distress, as well as cases of helping with the dowery for brides from low-income families.
In the center of action is the ‘Medicine with Heart’ project, really seeing the patients and providing assistance for them – encouraged by the award of the Danielle Prize which is given to health providers who go above and beyond, as well as encouraging humane and considerate medicine for patients and their surroundings.
The association also focuses on providing aid and empathy in the field of Academic Education via grants that are provided to students that combine their studies with community contribution.
It was Danielle’s way to provide warmth and love to all and this is the path that the association has taken in all its work.
