The “Lev Danielle” supervision system for fertility treatments operates in collaboration with all fertility departments across hospitals in Israel, from the northern to the southern regions. The supervision team is committed to the highest ethical and moral standards, accompanying couples through every stage of the process.
Support and partnership with the ‘Lema’anam’ initiative In 2019, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lema’anam [“For Their Sake”] association was established. A group of senior and professional physicians joined forces, volunteering fully to care for the health and well-being of Holocaust survivors.
The Foundation seeks to turn Danielle’s dream into reality: “Medicine with Soul, Medicine with Heart.” In pursuit of this vision, we dedicate ourselves to identifying and celebrating doctors within the healthcare system who deserve special recognition for their compassionate, humane approach to medicine and genuine partnership with patients and their families.
The Trauma and Loss Clinic, located and operated by the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, offers psychological treatments at a nominal cost for individuals with limited financial means. Under the leadership of Prof. Tuvia Peri, the “Danielle Clinic” develops and provides innovative psychological treatments for individuals coping with trauma and loss.
The Danielle Sonnefeld Foundation considers it a privilege to contribute to the vital work in the fields of health and medicine, supporting a variety of organizations and initiatives that benefit the community.
This effort is in memory of Danielle, who passed away before she could fulfill her dream – studying medicine.
